Batman Monologue
Banananana Batman!

“Get your banana hands away from me!” , screamed the black and yellow winged blur. Of course Mum had just eaten a banana with her muesli and the scent still lingered on her fingers. "NO, NO, STOP. I can even smell it!" argued the caped crusader as Mum tried to haul him into the car. This is Charlie, the six year old "wannabe" Batman who is terrified of bananas.
You see he is an odd little fellow. While he would supposedly fight crime and rise against all vegetable kind, in hope to bring justice to those children whom were forced to eat their greens. He had one weakness, bananas! He couldnt handle them. He was absolutely petrified of them. Bananas to him, were like Kryptonite to superman.
"How the heck do you expect us to believe you are Batman when you're scared of a bloody Banana?!" i exclaimed bluntly. He just sat there looking at me with utter disgust as if i had just spoken blasphemy. His face screwed up, turned red and tears rolled down his cheeks, "I AM THE REAL BATMAN!!", he screamed

Charlie still upset and muttering things to himself. the funny thing is this little kid will be gone in a few months, well this version of him. because not too long down the track he suddenly changes. randomly and quite unexpected he isnt afraid anymore. though still disgusted by vegetables he begins bare the presence of them. he wont eat bananas but hes now accustomed to their existance. its great but sad at the same time. Ill miss the little ratbag whom could be tamed by the wavering of the banana. it was at times amusing to tease him and as he changed it brought me to realise that eventually he will grow up and no longer be the little squirt he is now. one day he'll be a man and even now it saddens me to imagine a day without my little brother. But then again as time goes on new qualitys of his will uprise and this new him will im sure be just as enthusiastic and eccentric as he is

Silence entered the air after I stepped out of my apartment complex. Slamming the door hard, I walked out of the building and started strutting down the sidewalk into town. Several arguments left the air after I stepped out into the cold, frosty morning of November in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My parents have been arguing for months now, and I can’t take it. I mean, they’re good parents and have given me a nice place and all, but they always are getting drunk and argue all the time. I’ve tried to leave home multiple times but I always end up winding back. I poked at my shaggy, greased blonde hair. I’m a labeled greaser and belong to Tim Shepard’s gang. I mean they’re fun and all, but sometimes I can’t stand them. They watch out for me, we’re buddies, but they’re always drunk and wound up in fights all the time. It’s just like at home, but with the gang I feel more like they’re not gonna leave me.…
