Chapter 1-Introduction

1. Background of the Study
“Kainan ni Aling Cadiang” was started on November 1997, before it was a canteen where in they have four stall located at Farmers Market Araneta Cubao Q.C.In 2004, the place was renovated by the Farmers Market Management and turn it into “Dampa sa Farmers Market” Mr.Diosdado Monchito S. Bondoc, The stall owner, has decided to retain his place on the management. But for this time, he only has one stall to operate. The stall remains as “Kainan ni Aling Cadiang”. While the renovation is on going, he also started to build a 24hours canteen located along Session Road, Araneta Center, Cubao, Q.C. He divided his employee from the old stall of “Kainan ni Aling Cadiang” and then he hires for additional employee.
As the Business continuing to grow, Mr.Bondoc Buy a land in front of SM City Baliuag, Bulacan.There he raised a new business that he called “Dampa sa Bangka”, in front of this you’ll see “Ihaw-Ihaw” and “Gotohan”, on the middle part it has a fast food where you can dine-in, and at the back you’ll find a bar where in they accept “Paluto”, a stage for stand-up comedian and live band for entertainment.

2. Statement of the Problem
2.1. General Problem
The user consumes a lot of time in calculating each employees Salary and recoding as well.

2.2. Specific Problem
 It took several hours to finish a manual calculation for the Employees salary.
 It also consumes a lot of time to search for their names one by one and it’s not well organized.
 After a manual calculation has been done, the user still has to encode it for a record.
 The computation that have been made is also need to be written on a brown envelop together with their cash pay.
3. Objective of the Study
3.1 General Problem The user will save a lot of time with less effort in calculating each employees Salary and recoding as well.

3.2 Specific Problem

    Morgan uses Excel spreadsheets and a computer application to print payroll checks. He spends on the average eight hours to process payroll for the approximant 300-340 Castle’s Family Restaurant employees. Without schedule software each manager at the eight restaurants have to print weekly schedules and make changes as necessary throughout the week; increasing errors.
