Assault Spreadsheet Analysis
I have an assault spreadsheet I create weekly that contains all relevant information for the assault incidents that occur Friday from the previous week to Thursday of the current week. The data includes anything from the date and time, to demographics of the victim and offender, location information, and incident information. All of the data in this spreadsheet is pulled from an access query which is directly linked to our RMS.
Some of the tasks/functions I utilized in my spreadsheet included the average function and time functions. This is not really a complex task it’s just a long process after all of my data has been organized and cleaned. I go through the narratives for each report to see if there are any patterns.
