The quality of merlin are a lot for example he is loyal men its why people like him he try to help the king author to not get kill in their missions it’s why king author likes him merlin Is loyal to him and he doesn’t treat people bad he really good servant and something good about merlin is that he do magic is he only does it to do good to his town he doesn’t do it for evil like for example he is wise men so when he kill the guy that made the sword he felt bad right when he went to the bar he told the two guy that their moms where ugly so the two men got mad in start to hit merlin and merlin didn’t hit the back because he know that he kill the guy that made the sword it’s why he didn’t fight back. In the town the cannot do magic it’s not allow and everyone who does magic should be kill that’s why when he got back to the castle he told lies of who he got the sword because If he told the true he would be get kill.
I think what its back in that period of time is that anyone who does magic stuff would be get that makes think like in the past when witches were getting kill that every had to follow in the past that they could brake I rule or you were going to get kill and that why people got scared and didn’t fight back to the king everything had to follow if the king says for example that you had to be virgin until the day that you were married and If they found that you were virgin you were not to married the guy, and in the past I think they were afraid to see new things they were scared of new stuff that they didn’t knew what to that what it makes me think of the past
So what my modern-day epic hero is Jake sully of the movie avatar his action are good he is this funny guy that like the people in try to help the army by being an avatar he is honest he express his felling in he like to experiment with new thing he like to try it out, I think that the reaction of other is that the like him because he

There are five different options to choose from when deciding to serve the United States of America and the decision can be quite challenging when signing the dotted line. Most people will base their decision off family or friend affiliation with a particular branch, thorough research, or simply because a branch would get them into basic training sooner. Due to a personal experience deploying with the Army as an Air Force member and seeing first-hand how each branch operates was an eye opening experience. There are a variety of options and all five branches are ultimately serving as one; the United States Air Force and the United States Army are two very different branches, but also have key similarities.…

The Orioles and Ravens are similar but yet not so similar after all. The two teams show comparison because both of the teams play in Maryland, there stadiums are right across the street from each other, they are both professional leagues , both have dye heart fans, has had there fare shares of wins and losses. The Orioles have been around in Maryland as there baseball team since 1954. The Orioles went to the World Championships in 1966, 1970, 1983. The Ravens have been around a little over then 13 years as Maryland’s football team but seem to have a bigger fan base then the Orioles. Also the Ravens have only one the super bowl once in 2000. All interesting authors expose their readers to experience the essence of the story. In this case, Toni Cade Bambara uses the illustration of her short story “The Lesson”, in order to convey the reality of a 1960’s ghetto, African American community through the eyes of a young girl named Sylvia. Sylvia is a young, fearless girl who has an audacious and outspoken nature despite her constant use of profanity and insulting judgments of Miss Moore. Moreover, Toni Bambara’s technique of literacy in this piece is written in a way that transport the readers to another cultural setting that is condemned by a helpless cycle of economic poverty, which Miss Moore attempts to prevent for the future generation. In addition, Toni Cade Bambara uses her colorful style of tone to express the realism and individualistic characteristic of the urban black community of the 1960s through the use of AAVE, which stands for “African American Vernacular English.” Through this unique style of writing, Toni Bambara’s goal is to challenge or even question society of its unfair economy.…

The most interesting short stories that caught my undivided attention were: “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and “Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot” by Robert Olen Butler. These stories were both fascinating and intriguing in the sense that they made me feel like if I was the actual character. You could feel the pain and anguish the characters felt, even the desperation. It got to a point that I felt pity for the protagonist whom in both stories where narrating. Here we can see how someone can feel so desperate that they think the only way out is by taking their lives. Both Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Robert Olen Butler created an incredible form of fiction that makes you question if the scenes in the stories can truly happen in reality.…

When trying to decide which college to attend one of the most important things to figure out is if you want to attend a small college campus or a large college campus. Are you the type of person that looks foward to going to college to meet lots of new people or being up in the stands with thousands of other people cheering on your school basketball or football team? Or are you the type of person who likes getting to know all your classmates and professors and getting more one on one time with the professors to ask each and every question you have? These are some of the things you need to think about when choosing whether or not you want to go to a small or large campus.…

Everyday, stereotype is used in the society. Sometimes, when people use stereotype on other people, they don’t even recognize it because it’s so common and is ignored by the society. It’s a way to judge people through their common believes based on ethnicity, gender, skin color, appearance and language of the people who are being judged. For example, when people see a Vietnamese woman in her 20’s, 30’s and 40’s just migrated to America, they would assume that she will be working in a nail salon and flirt with some rich guys to get married with. Being stereotype is difficult deal with, and it’s really offended and hurtful. “The Myth of the Latin woman: I Just Met a Girl Named Maria” by Judith Ortiz Cofer and “Mother Tongue” by Amy Tan share some common and different stereotypes that they had to go through. In the story “The Myth of the Latin Woman: I just met a Girl Named Maria”, Judith Cofer wrote about her experiences being stereotyped as a Latin woman. In “Mother Tongue,” Amy shared her personal experiences being stereotyped with her language’s barrier. Even though the two female authors shared the similarity for being stereotyped by the society, they faced different situations on the way they were stereotyped.…

Ben Franklin and Frederick Douglass are the most prominent figures in American history that fought for freedom and equal rights, democracy and racial equality. Frederick Douglass was one of the most important figures in anti-slavery and civil rights movement which took place in the 19th century. Ben Franklin was a scientist, politician, diplomat and author. His social and political activity coincided with consolidation and creation of the nation. For both Franklin and Douglass, escape from oppressive circumstances became a turning point in their careers giving rise to political and social activity. The themes of survival and escape are closely connected with family background and early life of both men. Benjamin Franklin was of a family that for generations had lived by the sweat of its brow. Like his ancestors for generations back , he was bred to a trade through a long apprenticeship . That he became a journalist was not altogether accident His Uncle Benjamin and his maternal grandfather had been versifiers, and his elder brother had become printer of the fourth news set up in New England.…
