Arguments Against Gmo
Food is fundamental and essential for life. Our eating habits have become an important part of our daily life. Over the years, customs have changed and so did the way to taste and appreciate our food. Genetically modified food is based on using biotechnology to manipulate the food’s genetic code. GMO, which refers to ‘Genetically Modified Organisms’, are considered to be an innovation since it is way much faster to produce food, using GMO, and thus it may be the big solution for World Hunger. But are them safe for us? Do they present harm for the environment?
GMO are very criticized. Despite the benefits of GMO, there are many opposing views.
