Gun Control: Why it is wrong Many people are afraid of guns. Therefore, many people believe that our guns should be taken away. This against the law and it will anger a lot of people. Many people are gun supporters. This could cause a chaotic uprising of gun supporters. Not only are guns in major parts of our history, but they are also used to defend friends, family, and everyday people. people that are trying to take guns away believe they are preventing crime. This, however, is not the case.

While many people will be hurt from guns, there will also be crimes that include other weapons apart from guns. Overall, the effect that guns have on the American people is more positive than negative.

No amount of laws will ever change that. This is proven by the fact that in Singapore possession of drugs is punishable by death, yet there is still drug trafficking. This also pertains to guns. Fatalities during crimes will still occur. The crime rate will not decrease. In Virginia you have to register to purchase a gun, and the rate of crimes has stayed the same. Many people die in crimes, but there are more fatalities from everyday items, such as hammers or ice picks, than there are gun fatalities. Gun control is not the solution we need to stop crime. It is inadequate and frustrating to many people. If gun control became a reality, there would be riots and uprisings all over the United States. If there were gun control laws, the riots and uprisings would increase fatalities from guns.

In conclusion, gun control laws would impact the society, economy, and everyday basic life. Many people would be out of jobs. The gun fatality rate would increase rather than decrease. Chaos and havoc would ravage the country as we know it. It would cause a violent war among US citizens. Sure, there are positives to gun control, such as a false sense of security, but the negatives outweigh the positives. The gun control laws are ideas that may only work in a utopian society.
