Many issues face America but some create great debates among its citizens, for instance, the legalization of marijuana. There has been a great argument for years to legalize marijuana. Some believe that it should not become legal and some believe that it should but let’s be realistic, legalizing marijuana will cause many problems in this world. Legalizing marijuana could cause users to become addicted, cause mental health problems, and cause a huge threat to our environment

Once someone become addicted to marijuana it is a long and hard road to recovery. It could take months to years to get back to yourself again. Addiction is no joke so not contributing to it by legalizing marijuana is a smart thing to do for our society.
If marijuana were to ever become legal, a good amount of people would obviously take advantage of it so a good amount of people would obviously have a high risk of mental health problems. We can definitely not walk around with streets full of brain dead, schizophrenia citizens.
