Appendix A-2:

The first checkpoint submission in this course is designed to make sure you are all aware of some key components in this class, i.e. policies, academic integrity, citing and referencing. If you do not know this information it can result in substantial point loss during the course, so I have found that a refresher during this first week results in higher grades earned throughout the course. Read the following, answer as requested, and submit your responses.

C. Comer, R. J. (2011). Fundamentals of abnormal psychology (6th ed.). New York, NY: Worth.
D. Comer (2011). Fundamentals of abnormal psychology (6th ed.). New York, NY: Worth.

2) In which of the following sentences is our text cited correctly?

B. Some of the major motivational theorists are Freud, Murray, and Rogers. Comer (2011)
C. Some of the major motivational theorists are Freud, Murray, and Rogers. (Fundamentals of abnormal psychology, 2011)
D. Some of the major motivational theorists are Freud, Murray, and Rogers (Comer, 2011)

The Code of Academic Integrity is very specific about how to cite references and what is and what is not plagiarism. When using personal work that was done prior to what

As a computer technician, you must be familiar with a wide range of input/output (I/O) devices, including keyboards, mice, monitors, biometric devices, projectors, cameras, and video cards. Before you attach any of these to a computer system, you must first research which I/O devices and expansion cards are best suited for your computer’s configuration; for example, it is common to find more than one video card in high-end PCs, especially those that require more than one monitor. In this situation, video cards are needed to handle more graphics, 3D rendering, and gaming applications. The appendix helps you practice your research skills in finding appropriate I/O devices.…

Addiction is a disease in which people develop a tolerance for their drug of choice, making the possibility of recovery more difficult with each passing day. It can be accomplished though and takes motivation from internal sources to push a person towards recovery. It also takes the pulling of something external in order to give the person a goal in which to reach for. Addiction can encompass many different avenues, and there are many different avenues a person can take to reach it, and different avenues a person can take to be free.
