Anne Frank's Optimism
Helen Keller once said, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” Anne Frank and the other members of the annex lived by Helen’s words. They were all forced to go into hiding because of the Holocaust. But, everyone tried to be as optimistic as possible throughout the time they spent in hiding.They spent two long years in the “Secret Annex”. In Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett’s play Anne Frank, it is shown that optimism helps give people confidence and strength to carry on.
