Anne Frank Is Not A Hero
I believe that Anne Frank is not a hero. Yes she had an awful an awful life the last couple of years in her life, but I do not believe that makes someone a hero. A hero in my definition is someone who helps others and is ready to protect them. Anne did not protect anyone. She was merely caught up in the horrible act that was the Holocaust. She made it through on her own, but what makes her different from the rest of the children that died in the Holocaust? She was more victim than hero. She stayed in an attic for two years, hiding from the Nazi’s (Biography.com Editors). To be a hero she could have risked her life to help fellow Jews from being taken away with the Gestapo. She could have helped the resistance. But she stayed in the attic.Now
