When Was Rosa Parks A Hero

Who are heroes? Heroes are the people around us like firefighters,policemen,or doctors.Heroes can also be regular people that we see and talk to everyday. People like Rosa Parks can be heroes too. Rosa Parks would be a hero because she was able to stand up for herself, she was able to stand up for others, and was able to stop segregation.

Rosa Parks is a hero because she was able to stand up for herself on the bus. This was when the driver asked her to give her seat to a white person and she refused to do it (Rosa Parks My Story). The primary reason she had refused was because she knew that the Jim Crow laws were awful and unfair for blacks.The other reason was that she was tired of giving in.This demonstrated that Rosa was tired of giving in but the actions she took had serious consequences.This makes her a hero because she had stood up for herself during segregation which was really dangerous back then.
One way she stood up for others was by influencing the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
