Animal Veterinarian Personal Statement
My goal is to simply be happy in my chosen career. I believe my calling is to be a large animal veterinarian. By majoring in animal science, I am bettering myself to prepare for graduate school. Classes like biology, chemistry, and animal nutrition are vital to a DVM (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine). Although I am still a second-year college student, I feel that I have already had so much experience working with livestock. In my college career so far I have had to take care of a calf, help with birthing of lambs and kids, and gave shots and trimmed hooves on sheep. Veterinary medicine is an animal-oriented profession, and therefore both animal experience and veterinary experience are essential components of the vet school application. After
