Thesis Statement: An individual should adopt his pet from a shelter rather than buying one.
I. You save a life when you adopt a pet from a shelter. A. Animals are euthanized when they are not adopted. 1. 2.7 million animals are euthanized each year. B.You will make a room in the shelter for another dog which may save also its life.
II. You will save a lot of money if you adopt rather than purchase. A. Adoption fee is very cheap. B. Shelter dogs are less likely to get ill therefore it will prevent you from buying that much medication. C. Shelter dogs will not necessarily need special dog food which costs a lot of money.
