Aly Raisman Biography
Aly Raisman, a two time Olympian, a really funny women, and she is really pretty. She has been the captain both times she went to the Olympics. Aly is obsessed with fashion and design. She helps to design her leotards for competitions, even models for Ralph Lauren and Aeropostale. Aly practices six and a half hours a day. In a year she practices 371 and a half hours. That is a lot of time in the gym. Her parents, Lynn and Rick, gained attention at the London Olympics for their nervous reactions in the crowd when Aly competed! They also drew a lot of attention in the Rio Olympics! Aly Raisman is a great Olympian and a great gymnast. That is why I picked her. Aly is 22 years old. She is really funny and by her 2016 Olympic team she is called “Grandma” and “Mama”! …show more content…
Aly Raisman was born on May 25, 1994, in Needham, Massachusetts, to Lynn (maiden name name, Faber) Raisman, a former high school gymnast. She has three younger siblings: Brett, Chloe, and Madison. Aly is Jewish. Aly began gymnastics when she two years old. She really liked soccer when she was younger and she still likes it, but when it came time her to decide between soccer and gymnastics, she obviously choose gymnastics. If she were not a gymnast she would be a soccer player. When Aly was 10 years old she took her training to to the next level. She started working with Mihai and Silvia Brestyan at their American Gymnastics Club in Burlington, Massachusetts. Around the age of 14 she had begun competing on an elite level!
