Aluminum is the cheapest choose. It also has the most cans recycled every year. Aluminum can also make the most cans per one ton of materials. People who disagree with my opinion might say that aluminum has the most waste during production or that i t has the most kilowatts of energy used. Based on this evidence I think that aluminum should be the produced used for all drink

The purpose of this laboratory project was threefold, in that it presented three main objectives. The first objective was to prepare the ionic compound alum from aluminum powder. The alum was produced from the reduction-oxidation reaction of aluminum with potassium hydroxide and sulfuric acid in water. The second objective was to then analyze the alum product for water crystallization; that is, to determine the value of x in the following formula:…

There are already many aluminium cans manufacturers exist in the market, with some large packaging manufacturers dominating the market shares. Some large beverage processors even manufacture cans themselves (one large beverage company produced one-third of its own container requirement and ranked one of the top five beverage producers in the industry). Also, three of the global aluminum supplier companies also themselves manufacture aluminum containers.…

The best opportunity for the company to gain market share is to target adult energy drinkers from ages 35 to 54 since none of the competitors are catering towards this segment. Bottlers, distributors, and retailers are unlikely to produce and stock more than two SKUs of a new energy drink brand so it would be best to introduce a regular 16ounce single-serve package that consists of two different flavors. Since regular energy beverages hold 80% share of the market selecting regular is best, and since the 16ounce energy drinks represent 50% of case sales in convenience stores and want a high turnover to maintain prevalence in convenience stores its best to go with a 16ounce size. Also having two different flavors to choose from will help increase chance of trial rather than have only one flavor and have regular and sugar free or have one flavor and two different sizes. In positioning the brand the company should differentiate the energy drink from competitors by basis of packaging and select the 16.9ounce single-serve aluminum bottle with a resealable screw cap, and also by ingredients in having lower carbohydrates in the formulation. The energy brand should be distributed to all types of off-premise retailers where beverages are sold for maximum sales.…

In this lab, we brought emptied out aluminum cans.We filled these cans with a small amount of water. We began to boil the water to convert liquid to gas and exert gas particles. After the can was placed on the heating plate, we got a container of cold water. Soon later, the water inside the can was creating steam that was becoming more and more visible. Once we believed the water was hot enough, we got tongs to pick the can up. By picking up the can, the gas particles began to receive more space to move around away from each other, as the hot water was moving around. We held the can above the container of cold water, which had particles moving around each other. Once the can was placed in the water, the can was crushed. The can was crushed…

This year marks the 125th anniversary of my beverage of choice - Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola was created in Atlanta, Georgia, by pharmacist Dr. John Pemberton on May 8th, 1886 and in its first year only 9 glasses of the beverage were sold. Today, the Coca-Cola company sells 1.7 billion beverage servings per day on average, and its product portfolio has expanded to offer more than 3,500 beverage choices to consumers. One hundred and twenty-five years later, Coca-Cola is sold in more than two hundred countries worldwide – but that just scratches the surface of what the company is about. In addition to being the world’s number one beverage producer, Coca-Cola is leading the charge, around the world in sustainability; especially in the areas of waste reduction, renewable forms of energy and water conservation.…

Water, a very important factor in our daily lives, is used for multiple reasons such as taking a shower to drinking it. Water is essential for our bodies because it helps us with our digestion, temperature control, and structure. We have become dependable on bottled water, whether it is plastic or reusable. Today in society we have been tricked by manufacturing companies that all water that is from the tap is bad. These companies have convinced us to just buy a plastic water bottle from the vending machine or store. Although we presume we are getting ‘cleaner water’ we don’t realize how this impacts the environment. An alternative to plastic water bottles is reusable water bottles which I think is better for everyone. I think reusable water bottles are better to use because it is better for the environment and it saves money!…
