In Grey’s Anatomy, Meredith, the protagonist, lives with her friends and fellow residents. One day she gets a dog, and all of her house mates dislike him because the dog chews up their clothes, pees on their beds, etc. Everyone was being respectful--giving rational reasons but with emotion to convey that the dog is problematic and one character mentioned being there for Meredith when she broke up with her significant other. The dog eventually started abusing Meredith’s property so they gave the dog to her significant other (they made up after the break up).…

In the beginning, I was maddened by the fact that dogs were kidnapped and auctioned off as if they were material possessions. As the film progressed, I found myself increasingly disgusted with how certain characters, like Hal, overworked their sled dogs and forced them to labor in harsh conditions. Furthermore, I was outraged when Hal attempted to starve the dogs when there were food limitations on the journey. The film might have affected me more than general audience because I have an extremely strong connection with my dog. I can imagine how upset I would be if my dog was one of the sled dogs being forced to work long hours under Hal’s whip. Overall, I am outraged with the way that labor dogs were treated by certain characters in Call of the…

Do you think that service dog trainers should be able to keep their dogs? Well, I do. I think this because a dog shouldn’t be used just for work they should get love and affection just like any other animal. But, some people may think different for many reasons. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but mine is that if the trainers want the dogs, they should be able to keep them.…

Almost 40% of Americans live in a city where they need dog parks. That is a high demand. Dogs need to socialize. Getting along with other animals and people is good for the dog. It sometimes lessens the rate of reports on dog attacks. It also may be good for the animal to get off its leash and learn its surroundings. If not, in some cases, they become disobedient and develop behavioral problems. A lot of animals are left at shelters for…

In the article, “Wag more: A tale of healthy living,” the author explores the health benefits of owning a dog. The author explains that when someone owns a dog, they are more active due to having to walk the dog daily. The person is more likely to get closer to the recommended amount of time to be physically active if they have a dog that requires walks, regardless of the weather. Dog owners have been shown to have lower blood pressure than someone who doesn’t own a dog. Not to forget the fact that dogs can help calm someone with anxiety or depression.…

I support being against bringing your dog to work. I support this decision because I think a work place shouldn't be a place for your dogs. While your at work you need to focus on getting your work done rather than playing with a dog. Many people would get distracted from doing there work if people brought there dogs to work. If people brought there dogs to work they would need to take breaks to take them outside so they can use the bathroom.…

In conclusion, I think it would be immensely beneficial for me to get a dog for various reasons I explained. My reasons are that that it would teach me how to take of something other than myself, it would educate me on how to be patient, and it would show me how to own up to my actions and take responsibility. I would never push the work onto you guys, I would be responsible for him/her twenty-four seven. All possible counter-arguments I proved hold no value of any sort. An employee may be uncomfortable when a dog comes into the workplace and start sniffing around them. The employee do not know what the dog will do if the employee becomes afraid of it. Owning pets has always been a joy for Americans in the U.S. There are over 70 million owned dogs within the U.S. Dog parks were brought upon for dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under supervision of their owners. In the 1950s and 60s there were state and regional parks that had liberal policies that some dogs could walk and run trails, but in urban areas their owners had to keep a leash on them at all times. Dog parks are said to be found in every state except Alaska. Most specialists on dog behavior say that neglecting to take your dog out can lead to some disastrous behavior.…
