History repeats itself. Why exactly it does so is a nearly-answered mystery, but humans, especially oppressors tend to use the same tactics as other oppressors did beforehand. The Europeans copied Egyptian slavery, Western society took on the European notion of homophobia, and most recently, the German Nazi party created their own ghettos similar to the living spaces Blacks were systematically pushed into after being freed from slavery. This isn’t to say that Nazi germany looked into America, saw how they were treating their undesirables and went “Hey! We should do that too!” but the ideology and structure of the Jewish and Black ghetto are very similar, while not exactly the same.…

Everyday people all over the world are constantly judged and criticized for their appearance, how they act, or what they believe in. Many thought that their religion made them more superior than others. This kind of thinking is insidious. Not only is this destructive to the individual's feelings, but it can cause greater problems around the world. For instance, the Holocaust. The holocaust was a mass murder of thousands of people. The nefarious Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazis, believed that anyone who was not Arian, blue eyes and blonde hair, was inferior. Although many different races and religious cultures were targeted by the Nazis, the holocaust was generally aimed towards the Jewish culture. He got other people to join his movement…

My letter: I got involved into killing the Jewish people because Hitler took over the Jewish people town and he wanted us to bring them into these rooms were it was cramp because they had to share their rooms with 6 to 9 families in since the Jews people are in the rooms because we were ordered by Hitler to put them in there and since they had little tiny holes in the building’s the parents could not fit through the holes and get food but if we see Jews than we have to shoot them. We have to kill the Jews because Hitler wants to take over more land and take control and have more power over everything. Another reason why we need to kill them is because Hitler told us that the Jews was going to attack us. And my last reason why we had to kill the Jew's was because if we didn’t listen to what Hitler said and spoke about him then we would get killed because we spoke over Hitler but if we do listen to Hitler than we would still be alive and helping Hitler get more power and having control over everything. We also killed the Jews because we thought that Hitler was saying the truth about the Jews attacking us but he lied to us to where we could give him more control over everything and have more power that is why we killed the Jews because we believed what he said. We also put the Jews in the ghetto and if they owned businesses were seized and the Jews were not allowed to set foot in public parks or libraries, or go out after 5 p. M. anyone who violated these laws could be shot on this spot.…

Our planet has been filled with cases of discrimination throughout history, whether it be because of origin, race, or religion. Many think of discrimination as a horrible thing that people should not to, but sadly most of us still discriminate. Discrimination can sometimes lead to horrible things, as seen in Germany, where death and despair reaps many who were discriminated against because they were different. Another example of discrimination is when Spain tortured many poor innocent people because they did not want to convert to their religion, which was called the Spanish Inquisition. In America black men and women, just like us, were forced to be set to a lower standard of living that white men and women, just because of the color of their skin.…
