A Career In Hank Williams's Music Career
Audrey Williams gave birth to Randall Hank Williams on May 26, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana. His father was the famous country music star Hank Williams, and he didn’t get to know him much— he died when Hank Williams Jr. was only three years old. Though his father wasn’t alive, he affected Hank Williams Jr.’s career from the start— he made his music debut at eight years old, and sang his father’s songs. People loved that he was continuing his father’s style of music, and he quickly became successful.
However, Hank Williams Jr. grew unhappy. His father’s musical style wasn’t the style he wanted to sing, and so Bocephus found his own country style. Because of this, his popularity in the music industry continued to grow, surpassing his father.
