Using Resources for Education and Training

Introduction

This study aims to ensure that the resources used to deliver and assess the subject are suitable for all learners and, that the range and relevance of learning and teaching materials and media have been used effectively. Also reflect on good practice in the use of materials, and common errors that should be avoided. In this regard, provide ideas and examples for the use of teaching materials to enhance student learning. Furthermore, develop professional skills as a teacher assuring that the resources used are effective and that learning has been taking place. With a view to evidencing understanding regarding this subject, this study is divided into three tasks, which are:

Task A. Reflective account
A reflective account on the resources that have been used within the teaching activity which analyses:
a) The effectiveness of resources in meeting the individual needs of learners (ref 1.1)
b) Ways in which minimum core elements can be demonstrated when using resources for inclusive teaching and learning. (ref 2.1)

Task B. Portfolio of teaching evidence
In the teaching portfolio, evidence is provided that:
a) Resources were used to:
• promote equality
• value diversity
• meet the individual needs of learners (ref 1.2)
b) Resources were adapted to meet the individual needs of learners (ref 1.3)
c) Minimum core elements were applied when using resources for inclusive teaching and learning. (ref 2.2)

Task C. Evaluation
Reflecting on what has been done, an evaluation has been produced to:
a) Review the effectiveness of own practice in using resources to meet the individual needs of learners, taking account of the views of learners and others (ref 3.1)
b) Identify areas for improvement in your use of resources to meet the
