The 4 D’s of Abnormality What are the four D’s of abnormality? Dysfunctional: Behaviors and feelings that interfere with an individuals ability to function in daily life, hold a job, or forming relationships. Distress: Behaviors and feelings that cause distress to the individual or to others around him/her. Deviant: Highly Devient behaviors like chronic lying or stealing lead to judgements of abnormality. Dangerous: Behaviors that are potentially dangerous to an individual or the individuals around them are seen as normal.
Growing up Britney was an average girl who liked to perfom, but as she gotten older she has shown many signs of dysfunction in her personal relationships throughout her life. In 2004 the singer married Jason Alexander; this union was annulled two days later. Shortly after a bond formed between backup dancer Kevin Federline and Spears while Federline was expecting his second child with girlfriend Shar Jackson. The two were married shortly after on September 18, 2004; This Union Ended in Spears filing divorce in 2006 for irreconcilable differences with Kevin getting full custody of the children in 2008.
In February of 2006 Spears raised a ruckus when paparazzi caught her dangerously driving driving with her infant son on her lap. The Media called Britney’s behavior “irresponsible” and “troubling”. It was also stated that she was sending the wrong message to millions of fans worldwide. Shortly after Britney took to the club scene with Paris Hilton, this brought on many trips in and out of rehab. Many believed Spears to be Bipoloar however this was never confirmed.
Britney showed many signs of distress while attending the party and club scene with socialite Paris Hilton. In February of 2007 Britney shaved her head in a California beauty salon. Spears proceeded to tell the salon owner that “my mom is going to freak.” By summer of 2007 in the middle of a custody battle for her children she continued to move forward with her latest

    A few months after divorcing Alexander, Spears got married to Kevin Federline. Within a year they had their first kid Sean Federline. In 2006 Spears had a second kid with Ferdeline, Jayden Federline. In the same year She filed for divorce and they both agreed to share joint custody of their children. After the separation, things went downhill as Spears was seen in many clubs drinking and using drugs.
