This will help restore hydration to Mark’s body without running the risk of his plasma becoming hypotonic. Mark has lost a lot of water through sweat and this combined with the intense heat of the sun has caused Mark to have heat stroke. The heat stroke and severe water loss is causing Mark to feel weak, nauseous, disoriented, have low blood pressure, and a headache. Water loss will especially have a large effect on Mark’s physical state because it will directly affect the blood pressure. Extreme water loss is also evident due to Mark’s lack of visible sweat. Hyperthermia has caused Mark’s heat loss process to become ineffective. Dehydration and the heat stroke made it so that Mark’s body cannot produce sweat.…

    Miley Ashworth is 15 years old and lives with her mother Janie, her stepfather Ben and her younger sister Melissa who is 12 years old; they live in a 3 bedroom house in a council estate based in Bognor Regis. They were transferred here from Angering 3 years ago due to Mileys anti-social behaviour causing nothing but upset and aggravation to her neighbours. Since moving to this new estate Miley has been warned that she must stay on her best behaviour and she has done so up until November this year, three months ago, since then she has been suspected of dealing drugs and is now two months pregnant from who she does not know who the father is. This year, her behaviour and attitude took a toll on her life; she failed her GCSES and has decided not to go back to college. She feels that it is important to find out who the father is so that she doesn’t have to go it alone, she says she was sleeping with three different people around the time of conception. Mileys relationship with her step-father is limited, she feels that since her mum and Ben have been together that she hasn’t had much time to bond with her mum as she feels that her mother does not have time for her, on top of this she feels that she is singled out as Ben is not her real father but is to Melissa, unfortunately Miley feels like Melissa is favoured as she has both her parents living with her but Miley does not. Ben is Muslim and is from a very religious background, he doesn’t believe in sex before marriage and is therefore disgusted with Miley and is it also putting strain on his marriage with Janie as he feels she should have parented Miley better and taught her about self respect. Ben takes his religion very seriously and feels that Miley is going to bring shame on his family, since finding out about Mileys pregnancy he has been provoking her and pushing her into going to the abortion clinic although this is not what Miley wants.…
