Executive Summary
Employee turnover is an expensive problem for small public accounting firms. Turnover which means the company cannot retain experienced employee which company needs for whatever reason.
On the other hand, if a company has a healthy employee turnover rate, it would be very beneficial to the healthy development of the company. Because that would mean for some people who do not fit the company needs, so they leave. And that the right people have the opportunity to show their talent.
Reduce employee turnover rate, in fact, it is just improve employee satisfaction. The satisfaction or job satisfaction is, quite simply, how content or satisfied employees are with their jobs. Employee satisfaction is typically measured using an employee satisfaction survey. These surveys address topics such as compensation, workload, perceptions of management, flexibility, teamwork, resources, etc. (Employee Engagement Surveys. (n.d.))
This report is aimed at employee turnover in Canadian small accounting firm to do a comparative analysis, and follow the concept of SWOT and PEST analysis by making the firm 's employee turnover at a reasonable level and to help firm better development.
Normally, Canada’s company like to use those kind ways to retain employees: to find what would they need, increase staff satisfaction, increase the employee‘s income, creation the company’s culture, adjust the pace of work and so on.
In order to maximum possible to retain valuable employee, my recommendation is: hire a professional human resource company at first, then require the professional human resource company to help us to make a planning which including improving the research of employee satisfaction, reports the research. And secondly, according to this research results, targeted to increase satisfaction of employees. If there are valuable employees, increase their income; provide them with suitable position and also provide them with development opportunities, the purpose is
