5. Packet Tracer is a Cisco collaborative learning tool that provides a way to build virtual representations of networks that behave much like actual networks. 6. List four external factors that affect data networks. 1. The quality of the pathway between the sender and the recipient 2. The number of times the message has to change form 3. The number of times the message has to be redirected or readdressed 4. The number of other messages being transmitted simultaneously on the communication network 5. The amount of time allotted for successful communication 7. List three internal factors that affect data networks. The size of the message 1. The complexity of the message 2.
