"Information Technology" Please respond to the following: * Predict how technology will positively impact business over the next ten (10) years. Describe what specific changes or paradigm shifts you expect to see. * Within the same 10-year period, discuss the additional challenges and concerns you see arising from the implementation of new technologies.
Technology in the next ten years in my opinion will change people’s lives everywhere. Production of trades will be at a faster pace. I think there will be more machines used in businesses allowing you to access the office from a remote location and handle more things while not being confined to an office building. Look at cell phones as an example, they do so much than just make and receive calls you can access your computer from your phone, you print items on the device, you can view and save important files to have them at your fingertips, and so much more. The next decade will see the rise of new businesses fuelled by technologies that don’t exist yet. The way technology is growing it can mean more jobs in a vast amount of new and old fields. This will drop the unemployment rate down and require more education. With technology changing the way it is you will have to stay knowledgeable of all the new and innovative changes in order to keep your business above and beyond the competition.

(Greene, para. 1-6, 2011) In other words, we are learning more than ever! Out with the old, and in with the new. This is especially true in the world of business. Technology helps businesses to better reach their customers, organize records, and to establish an online presence. (Swanson, para. 5-11, 2012)…
