Will dieting make people fat? In our society, overweight and obesity become the remarkable problem. It troubles people, and many people try to lose their weight and keep slim. Dieting is one of the most popular methods for people to lose the weight. However, there was some people said that dieting would make people become fat. In fact, stopping dieting makes will make people gain weight and influenced people by metabolism, memory, immunity and emotion. There are many people want to lose their weight and be on a diet. According to “Nutritional implications of obesity and dieting, there is more than half of UK adults suffer overweight and obesity” (Ruxton, 2011). Obesity becomes very prevalence in the world. There are some research results for the UK. A data from the Health Survey for England (NHS Information Center, 2009) showed that firstly, “more men than women are obesity. Secondly, obesity is more remarkable in the middle-aged people than other group people. Third, boys are more prevalence of overweight than girls in the children groups.” (p. 203)why people need it to explain the fact.
