Neenah, WI 54956 Dear Council Members: The attached report, requested by the Neenah City Council dated November 14, describes the states negative health issues it has on the citizens of Wisconsin due to the recent spike in obesity. We believe you will find the results of this study useful in evaluating future health development in Wisconsin. This study was designed to examine solutions to end obesity and obesity health related issues in the state of Wisconsin: ● Current obesity rates in Wisconsin
● Current health related issues due to obesity
● Indirect and direct effects of obesity
● Causes of obesity Primary research consisted of Dr. Dhurandhar and Dr. Atkinson, testing laboratory chickens along with testing Wisconsin and Florida citizens for the Ad36 virus.
Secondary research consisted of Dr. Benjamin Caballero of Johns Hopkins University.
Research also includes state records of obesity rates and health effects due to obesity.
Results of this research is discussed more fully in this report, indicating that obesity in adults and children can come to an end in Wisconsin. We would be pleased to discuss this report and its conclusion with you at your request.
