Results from a systematic review of both published and unpublished articles that were conducted during the period between 1994 and 2009 for the purpose of evaluating the process and outcome of various models of inter-professional staffing showed that sufficient resources such as finance, human resources, time, infrastructure and supplies were found to contribute to the performance of various healthcare teams.
