The need analysis is done on the particular store that I worked at and for the Ladies wear department, concerns raised here may not be generalizable across all stores and departments. The needs analysis is performed to identify gaps between the desired performance and current performance.
Concern
Not all employees comply with the training provided; therefore not all employees promote the value added services the organization provides like auto locate and the Bay Credit Cards. Some employees neglect the most basic of job duties such as helping customers and most fail to take loss prevention measures required by the organization especially in the fitting rooms.
This issue is a cause for concern as it has a variety of negative effects on the organization. The lack of promotion of value added services reduce business to the store and also reduces the ability for the store to meet the targets set by upper management. Some issues such as lack of customer service help create a negative impression of the store and department.
Lack of compliance with the loss prevention measures in fitting rooms’ increases possibility of theft decreases stores profit margins and since some loss prevention measures are looped around customer service skills this further decreases customer

ACE stands for Auto-locate (A program where in store unavailability does not affect product availability, customers are given the opportunity to purchase products not available on line but in different remote location at the same price to be delivered to a location of their choice within 3-7 days), Credit Card Program and Email Capture digital marketing
