Super Bowl 50 Commercials
Super Bowl 51 had many commercials that were all very expensive to put up. But it's so expensive because it's some of the best advertising a company can get. Hundreds of thousands of people will be watching and most also watch the commercials. The commercials are normally entertaining and keep people watching them and so it is great marketing for companies and they all use entertaining commercials. It was widely diverse with companies advertisements. Here are two of the most persuasive commercials.

The Bai commercial was very humorous yet simple. To get a time slot it's very expensive and they didn't have the largest advertisement. It started out with a close up of Christopher Walken and it had him saying rhyming lyrics slowly like it was serious. He then looks over at Justin Timberlake who is looking back at him with eyes that are sort of judging him sort of laughing internally. This is because it is he lyrics to his early 2000's hit song "Bye Bye Bye." They then both look at the camera and it starts to sing the chorus of the song and shows the Bai product on the screen. The advertisement meaning was to make a joke that "Bai" was like the word "Bye." They use celebrities and humor to help the audience want to buy their product.

The Buick commercial was also a humorous and more complex commercial. It had a larger time slot for advertisement. The commercial is these two guys watching their sons football game. A brand new Buick drives up in the parking lot at the game, the dad(1) says look at that new Buick. The other dad(2) then says if that's a Buick then my sons Cam Newton, a professional quarter back, because he doesn't believe the dad(1). Then it shows dad(2) son as quarterback about to hike a play, when he suddenly turns into Cam Newton. The the little kids are shocked, Cam Newton hikes the play and then passes the ball so hard to his receiver that the receiver is pushed all the way into the touchdown area. The football team then celebrates. Then the camera

SLAP “Keep your hands off my mama, keep your hands off my Doritos!!!” This was the phrase that sent millions into a roaring laugh during the 2010 Superbowl Doritos commercial. This commercial says a lot about Doritos, considering the little boy holds them to the standard of his own mother implies that his love for them is just the same as the love he has for his mother. In many was this commercial was effective. One way was showing the little boy picking a fight with someone who is clearly bigger and stronger than him, another was the love the boy had for his Doritos made me feel like I just had to have some just to see if I feel the same way. Lastly the young boys emotion towards the man conveyed a sense of anger and seriousness implying that, at that very moment there was absolutely nothing more serious that a strange man in his house eating his Doritos.…

There were numerous of insanely and outlandish commercials during the Super Bowl of 2015. Most of the commercials would have to advertise sex, kids, animals, or randomness in order to appeal audience. Then there are ads like the Dodge commercials. It sends a message that needs to be sent - respect wisdom. Social media can be cruel and demeaning especially to elderly people. The Dodge commercial that aired during the 2015 Super Bowl started off pretty pleasant, but that took a major turn quickly! While the elderly featured in the clip were giving a valuable advice to the audience, they then become a little aggressive. This commercial demonstrates dedication, giving up one’s own time to better off a friend that they care about. In the video, nine normal men play wheelchair basketball with their friend who is disabled and cannot enjoy the same experiences they are able to. This is very powerful because you are able to extract the fact that there is not a shot these men would be playing like this if their other friend did not have the ability to walk. Using the rhetoric concept of pathos, the audience is drawn into a state of inspiration and feels what the disabled character has to go through. When they stop playing, the other nine men stand holding the door open for their friend and exit the gym. This makes the audience feel the entitlement of respect for the players who give up their legs just to make their buddy feel included. The disabled man is filled with joy that he has a group of friends who are willing to do anything to make him feel a part of something. This is shown by his positive body language and reactions. The end of the commercial is…
