Point of view of the manager
II. Problem
Rogelio Licuans’ mounting stubborness attitude towards his work place.
III. Objective
To minimize Rogelios’ stubbornness attitude.
IV. Areas of considerations
 Rogelio Licuanan has been with the bank for only 4 years to date. He graduated from one of the top universities in the country and has rendered an impressive performance since he was hired by the bank.
 Mila Sala, who is more senior than Rogelio is responsible in pushing Mr. Licuanan first promotion in the unit much faster than the usual promotion period of the other employees.
 Mila started to notice the increasing stubbornness of Mr. Licuanan in carrying out orders from superiors.
 Mr. Licuanan outrageous attitude when he knew that Ms. Mila Salas was not satisfied by his account presentation.
 Mr. Licuanan and Ms. Salas tried to be civil in carrying out their specific task and tried not to cross each other’s path without the knowledge of their superior to the incident that had happened.
V. Alternative Courses of Action
1. Evaluate 201 file from previous employee
Advantages
201 file is essential in reviewing new recruits, it contains personal data of an employee. 201 file will help Human Resources to hire suitable employee basing it to employees’ personal evaluations/performance appraisal. Disadvantages
201 file might not be accessible since this is considered as personal information by the previous employment.
2. Reassess Performance appraisal
Advantages
This is very important because it is essential to maintain a highly motivated and good quality employees, and this is very important if you want to reach your long-term goals and objectives. It is a continuing developmental process and it is well monitored to make sure that objective and results are being met by Mr. Licuanan.
Disadvantages
This might take too long to construct since management will established different presentation, approach, technique depending on
