SSADM method for SDLC
Here we are explaining how we will use different methodologies for different phases of Development life cycle.
Note: We have decided to use multiple methods in project development approach and picking best suited methods for different stages.
1. Planning

We will use Structured Systems Analysis and Design method here for planning phase as it covers all the scenarios which may run under requirement gathering and planning phases
As SSADM was basically designed to define structural standards and techniques to be used in project, we will be using blend stages as mentioned below.
To study feasibility – SSADM will be a help here to cover all the key points to determine feasibility for the application being developed.
Stage 0 of SSADM is Feasibility study which will guide us to consider all type of feasibility that requires taking care for mobile application.
We will determine project idea is unique
If application is going to make money in anyway?
All the required genuine soft wares/hard wares are available such as Eclipse for android, XCode for iOS etc. and database backend such as Oracle, MS Visio tool along with enough machines with storage server
The technology being used is enough matured for implementation?
Are we considering holidays according to Seneca calendar?
To investigate current environment – SSADM will help us here to determine running environment for the mobile app when it’s available for the students.
Stage 1 of SSADM is Investigation of current environment which will drive us to define detailed environment details with considering all the compatible issues for different operating systems running in the market.
For Android - Apk file for android will be running on those devices which are having below mentioned configurations
Version – 2.3 and up
Size – Apk size shall be no more than 10MB and will requires approx. 200MB of free memory when installing
For Apple - Ipa file for apple devices
