Sensible Diet vs. Crash Diet
Sensible Diet vs. Crash Diet

Seeking the right amount of calorie and nutrition is essential to weight losing. There are two main categories of diets: crash diet and sensible. People who want fast result pick crash diet, which is unwise and potentially dangerous, rather than sensible diet, which is health and safe.
Food fasting is one type of crash diet, and it is the most dangerous method of all because overly done can lead to disturbances of heart rhythm or even death. During a fast, a person purposely abstains from food for a specific time, and the body is forced to use stored energy to get the fuel it needs for functioning. People usually fasted for religious and therapeutic purposes, but it is very commonly used now. If your horizontally challenged friend says that he will go on a date in a couple days, he probably has the fasting-for-a-day-or-two plan in mind. A one-day fast is unlikely to cause any harm to a healthy body, but slightly longer fasts can cause headaches and other illnesses. After fasting, your metabolism also slows down to conserve energy. Then, when you go back to your usual diet, your lowered metabolism may cause you to store more energy, meaning that you will probably gain back the weight you lost and possibly even put on more weight when eating the same calories you did before the fast.
The big breakfast diet on the other hand is one of the sensible way to keep your body slim. You've heard it before: Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper. That's the basis of The Big Breakfast Diet. The principle is simple: eating more in the morning can keep you full and accelerate metabolism thus help you eat less throughout the day. Therefore on The Big Breakfast Diet you can eat almost any foods you want. People who eat a healthy breakfast each day have greater control over their daily calorie intake and can result in losing weight slowly but in a healthy way.
Another sensible diet plan is raw food diet, which

The great thing about approaching dieting this way is not necessarily having to eat less. Of course, you will still have to eat the right kind of foods, so do watch what you eat. One thing about traditional dieting is how the whole body goes into survival mode to preserve whatever calories and fat it has. This is especially true if you skip one or two meals. A much more effective strategy is to eat several smaller meals in a day, rather than the traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner. This ensures the stomach stays satisfied throughout the day. There are a number of metabolic diet recipes you can try that you can refer to when you start cooking meals that are appropriate for dieting. Another mistake that some dieters make is skipping breakfast. Unfortunately those who do, tend to overeat later in the day and will likely suffer from sluggishness. By eating breakfast, this allows you to effectively jump-start your metabolism after having fasted overnight. This helps the body burn more calories throughout the day and avoid the sluggishness that is typically experienced by most dieters. Coffee is another key component that most adults already take advantage of. Coffee has long been known to boost the nervous system and keep it more alert and ready to burn more energy and calories.…

Certain cultures and religions in the East, such as Islam and its observation of Ramadan requires followers to not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset for a month, have been around for centuries.
