FOOD
Food can be processed in many different ways depending on your needs or your natural ability, some individuals may have to be fed by family, nurses if they are hospitalized or enabled bodied people who cannot physically feed themself this would be done by using a tube through their nose and into their throat or injection into the system. This is done for people who are desperately ill as everyone needs food to give them energy throughout the day. Our meals should contain certain amounts of fat, salt, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. For example- women and men take in a different number of nutrients a day, women’s nutrients should contain 2000 calories a day and a man’s nutrients should contain 2,500 calories a day.

A diet is the different type of food eaten on a daily basis by an individual, diet does not always mean losing weight someone’s diet means all of the meal and snacks you eat. People may be trying to lose weight by eating less calories and eating healthy foods, fruit and vegetables is a good source of nutrients. A good diet to have would be food such as, having Weetabix with fruit for breakfast then for a snack could be oat and fruit bar, lunch a salmon sandwich with a banana or apple, and this would also be another of your five a day lastly for dinner a shrimp salad with vegetables. Some people need healthy diets to lose weight or because they could have an illness that could affect their weight such as heart disease, diabetes. An unbalanced diet would be when you are getting the minimum amounts of food groups every day, it could also be a diet that has too much of the same food group
