In today’s world where we live in, the issue of zoo seems to be getting more and more complex. Some people argue that zoos are harmful and not useful while others contend that the zoo is invaluable for human beings. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my own opinion. BODY: 1

One school of thoughts believes that zoo gives humans new knowledge. The pivotal aspect of this argument is that inevitably, the zoo is the important place for innate learning. The zoo also let students have a chance to learning biology practically. For example some reports show that learners are able to observe animals' behaviors and features. Furthermore, it must be stated that practical learning help students relax from a boring lecture class. In addition researchers need the zoo to pick up some examples of animals for their researches because it has diverse species of animals. BODY: 2

Opposing school of thoughts argue that the lack of natural environment is indeed what makes the debate about zoos so ardent, In addition to this, skeptics oppose to the view that most animals' cages are just too small for the creatures to feel comfortable, run or even walk a long distance. As an illustration, some surveys clarified that animals are literally trapped in their small metal cages for lifetime, like prisoners, hence there is always the possibility that some species could be disturbed by visitors or even poisoned with bad food if the security in the zoo is not good enough. CONCLUSION

In conclusion, I would concede that these facilities are to remain, owners must make the conditions in zoos much more appropriate for animals by enlarging their cages and providing medical treatment if necessary.
