In todays society many human right activists want fair and equal rights for their own being, however when it comes down to the animals wellbeing many are unaware about how they get treated. Animals have little rights in the world but there are many bills out there to trying to protect the animals life and its life in our future. Many people are trying to standup for the innocent animals that are locked up in cages, overbred and even forced to perform. Only if more of the population knew how animals were treated there would be less worrying about themselves and more on the animals that don't have a word to say. Zoo’s are an attraction for many each year, but not enjoyed by the animals behind the steel bars and glass windows. Would being locked in a cage and have visitors looking in while pounding the glass and rumbling the bars be a day worth enjoying? Of course, not. These actions are what the animals facial and body expressions reveal to visitors taking pictures. The zoo’s guests, being excited to be there and admiring the animals, cannot place themselves on the other side. Visitors sees only how everything appears to be perfect for their viewing pleasure. Simply stated, animals should not be locked in cages. For instance, elephants that are …show more content…

Animal cruelty is a very severe issue. It happens all over the world, it can happen to any kind of animal, A farm animal, a pet, or even a wildlife animal. People tend to think that animals can be treated in a bad way because they aren’t “humans.” An animal is supposed to be treated as anyone would be treated in a good way and respectfully, they do have feelings just like we all do. Although animals aren’t human beings we all have the right to be treated equally. Animal abusers should be punished in a very serious manner; there should be consequences for mistreating an animal.…

Animal abuse is a topic that most people are aware of in this day and age. But to clarify this is not going to be a speech appealing to the pity of Sarah McLachlan's song during animal cruelty commercials. Believe me this topic is truly sad, but its gets worse when you look into the current problems. I will elaborate on what is currently being done. The SPCA is a very large benefactor in stopping animal abuse as many of you probably know by their numerous commercials asking for donations and public awareness but they cannot take this entire burden on their shoulders alone. The type of animal abuse I would like talk about is specific to farm animals. This is a particular topic that many people do not consider. The example i am going to use first is the life of a cow and then elaborate on chickens. A female cow on a dairy farm is repetitively impregnated, again, and again for the production of milk. Hundreds of cows residing on thousands of dairy farms across america are artificially inseminated to constantly produce milk for our consumption. After a time of nine months the cow gives birth to a calf, within hours or a day the calf is taken from the mom and transported to a veal…

Animal abuse is when someone inflicts pain or harm upon an animal such as not giving them their basic needs (food and water) to beating them. In between 5 and 7 million animal companions enter an animal shelter nationwide, every year (www.aspca.org), and within 50 miles of Hayward, CA, there are 170 animal cruelty cases reported (www.pet-abuse.com). Imagine what these innocent beings that cannot speak out to let the human know they are in pain feel. Animals need us to speak out and help reduce their suffering instead of making their lives worse. Animal safety needs to be improved by creating more laws to protect animals from harm. Animal cruelty is shaped by two forms of abuse, different types of animal abuse, opinions on how animal cruelty happens, organizations that help fight for animal rights, and ways to report it.…

If someone would purposely harm a small innocent puppy, what would they do to a human? If someone starves their pet and deprives them of life essentials, what about their children? If these types of people had children, they could just as easily deprive them too. Most people do not look at animal cruelty cases like this. They do not realize that not only are they harming animals, but they could also be harming other humans just as well. When an animal case is looked it, it is basically glanced over, with little in depth inquiry.…

The Animal Welfare Accountability and Transparency Act was introduced on March 2nd, less than a month after the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service removed animal welfare archives from nine thousand research labs, dog breeders and other facilities. This includes records from government programs such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration that require tests on dogs and rats. They also include pet store chains, zoos, and aquariums. These records describe in detail the quality of animal care in facilities structured by the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) and Horse Protection Act (HPA). Animal cruelty can be anywhere and done by anyone. Many people think of animals, especially cats and dogs, as disposable. They get a puppy for the children for Christmas only to realize it is a lot of work that the children are not ready for. They forget to feed and water it, don 't take it for walks, and don 't take it outside to use the bathroom. The solution, abandon it or just take it to the humane society. They 'll get another when the kids are older. An animal that is used to being taken care of by humans cannot fend for itself when it is dumped. It slowly starves or gets attacked by other animals. Many people will shoot stray animals with bbs to chase them away from their property. The animal becomes hurt or aggressive…

I join the club because I love animals so much and I am still wondering why peoplecan react cruelly to some cute animals such as kitten and puppy. A: There are a few reasons why people can behave that way. I think that some people are cruelto animals because they may be angry and miserable and they take it out on animals that arehelpless and can't speak out. It's like bullying someone - it makes the bully (or abuser) feelpowerful. Another reason could be, the people are just plain ignorant and don't have any respect or sympathy for them.B: I feel so sorry after listening to what you had said.
