Nowadays, education is one of the most important factors in the development of any prosperous state. It is generally known, that an international exchange of students among Universities in different countries plays a very important role in globalizing the educational process. Students, who got an education in different countries, such as the USA, UK or Canada, bring in fresh ideas and approach into the activity back at home. These days specialists educated abroad are in great demand for developing countries.
Studying abroad has been my main desire since my school days, but I was not allowed to study far away from my homeland by my parents. While studying in the linguistic school I had a several opportunities to study abroad, nevertheless I did not know who I will be in the future. As I studied in different types of school (linguistic, physical and mathematical) and as I am going to graduate with excellent diploma from Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi which is the biggest and the leading technical University in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, I can accomplish this dream today and I realize who I want to be in the future. This opportunity is like a challenge for me, because I want to improve my knowledge in order to be useful for my country after graduation and also I want to achieve something in my life without control of my parents. I am a final year student of Mechanical Mathematics Faculty with a specialization in Mathematical and Computer Modelling, because of this, I clearly understand that nowadays technical specialists should not stop at the achieved level they should improve it constantly and apply an important new knowledge in practice. The fact is that technology is developing every day, scientific and technical progress is improving and always goes forward and the UK plays a leading role in this field. Technologies developed by Britain companies in this field are the newest and are implemented in the entire world. This is the first reason

When I was eleven years old I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I had a hard time coping with the changes in my mood. Part of my healing process consisted of trying many different medications, therapies, and developing the desire to heal. During this time, friends I had for many years pushed me away, and although I felt alone and confused at times, I came out thriving. Bipolar Disorder is a mood disorder thought to be caused by chemical imbalances in the brain that can result in extreme swings in mood—from manic highs to depressive lows. To be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, you must have experienced a high period (mania). Bipolar mania is described as an “extreme high,” or feeling unusually great. Most people with bipolar disorder when ill or when symptomatic experience more lows than highs. Unfortunately, the lows I experienced were so extreme that the friends I thought would be by my side through anything chose to follow other kids and use my disorder to bully me creating deeper depression. Initially, I felt stigmatized by my diagnosis. Most people I encountered either didn’t know what bipolar was or how to interact with someone suffering with the disorder. Teachers, peers, and family members had a hard time knowing what to say or how to act around me. I started to feel like I was no longer my own person but just one big disaster and my mood swings became even more extreme as a result. Eventually, I grew tired of feeling sorry for myself and began my quest for the right medication, vitamins, nutrition, psychological and spiritual health and wellbeing. I found my inner strength and courage. I put my energy into school, new friendships and family and started…

A friend recently told me “Don’t let the things you can’t control, control you”. I realized how much this small piece of advice relates to my life as an African American woman.
