Aim : Tell about study abroad, especially study in China
Objective : 1. find and study material about study abroad 2. Develop the ability to combine and organize regional studies material 3. Develop critical and creative thinking 4. Create a presentation on a given them Conclusion: Nowadays more and more student are eager to study abroad, because they feel that studying abroad is better than studying local universities of our country. However, the students have their own where to study. They have own reason to stud locally or abroad. Both of universities, abroad or local have their own uniqueness, as well as advantages and disadvantages.
Also studying in local universities can save the cost compared to studying in universities abroad, students have to pay not only for our study but also for our living cost. And students who study abroad are exposed to culture shock and they will have communication barrier. In addition, you will miss your friends and family, feel homesick, at times lost or alienated. Of course, getting education in foreign county has a lot of benefits. Living in any new country is likely to broaden the mind.

    Does studying abroad always give more opportunities for international students? I strongly think studying abroad presents more disadvantages to international students than advantages. Even though some people believe that studying in another country gives international students unique experiences and opportunities that they may not find in their own country, I do not support this opinion. While I was in Australia for two years, I experienced culture shock and suffered from homesickness. In addition, I had to go through various hardships and cope with many difficult situations for myself. An Australian study reports that language, tuition cost, and feelings of isolation ranked the highest among problems faced by international students (qtd. in Lee and Rice 387). It is not a surprise to say that most international students suffer from all sorts of hardships in other countries. As I am an international student in the U.S., I think there are many problems faced by those who choose to study abroad, including the language difficulties, a strain on personal relationship, and adjusting to local culture and traditions.…

    In the beginning, the main reason that Maldivian students might choose to study in abroad is to get a high quality and an excellent education which is related to their career. According (Williams, 2010) “most students would probably argue that the principal concern was with course-related issues, such as the quality and reputation of the course.” .For example according to (Williams, 2010) by a students in focus group discussions thinks that the education in UK is famous for all over the world. Additionally, brand new country causes a culture shock for new students but it does not take a long time when they get new friends and keep their mind on studying. Besides, students must consider school fees and living expense that are expensive fees. As usual, they can find a part-time job to support their finance. General speaking, going study overseas gives more benefits and chances for students to get successful.…
