A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new…India discovers herself again." On the eve of India’s independence, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru famous speech “Tryst with Destiny” marked the beginning of a free India with words symbolizing hope and triumph.

15th August 1947 symbolizes the victory of Indian patriotism which the nation got after uncertain yet brutal struggle from the repression of the British colonialism.and on the the night of 14th august, When the wrld was asleep, We rose to our full glory. This was the day when we could finally unfold our tricolored flag with a sense of pride which was a moment every Indian waited for,but had to be payed with the years of independence struggles and many sacrifices made by our forefathers.We were given complete freedom for this land and nation. A seat of equality and self respect . We were offered membership and voice among free nations of the world.

we are one of the nations with a steady growth rate and flourishing economy. We have our problems of poverty, illiteracy, caste divisions and other endemic illnesses plaguing our country. But we have our resources and a strong pride in our nation thanks to the independence. We are united, democratic, socialistic minded and so, we can combat all these evils and emerge as the best nation in this world.
Independence day is the day to remember the sacrifices made by our illustrious forefathers and pay homage to them. A day to remember that due their sacrifices only our rich cultural heritage is preserved. A day to remember that only due to independence we have economic freedom, advances in the fields of health, education, agriculture, telecommunications, information technology and science and technology. We now have a strong infrastructure of transportation, shipping and railways. above all ,We have a very strong Army, Navy and Air Force and the para military forces of different kinds to meet all our requirements , which
