My Dad
Some people might say that the perfect dad does not exist, I don't know what they know, but what I surely know is that my dad is perfect for me and he is the greatest grandfather. Everything my dad do is special to me, the way he dresses, the way he moves, the way he behave, the way he speaks etc. I just think that it could be greatest thing ever if I could ever meet a man half as great as my dad.
My dad is a coach. He is usually wearing tennis shoes, sweatpants and a comfy t-shirt not in an I don’t care kind of look, but like an coach would look. Looking at him you can tell that he is very laid back and easy going. Just the other we were out to eat and this man walks up to him and says “You look like a coach. I need to talk to one.” However, if you know my dad like I do, you would know that he dresses in all kind of clothes, such as cheap, expensive, soft, formal, informal, etc. I really like it when he wears his suit that is when he his suit that is when he is the most handsome.
My father is sort of a large built man standing around 5’10. I’m hesitating to call him fat because he is muscular but he does have a large round belly. He is mostly bald the little hair he does have is gray and he sort of walks like a penguin. He tells me when I was younger he would rock me to sleep on his belly. He is the kind of person that is interesting to listen. His voice is calming and soothing. Every time that I need to hear e an honest opinion, I always go with my father, because he gives me his opinion from the bottom of his heart. At other times when he wants to tell me something that his good or bad, he waits the perfect moment to tell me, it is usually somewhere where that is calm and relaxed. My dad always tries to give me his advice. Sometimes it might appear as I don’t listen or care but when he gives me some advice, it is very important and dear to me. He gives me the support that everyone needs, when my

My Dad is an extremely hard working person. He is always up and ready for the day before anyone else in my family and He is also the last person up always working on His projects. Just as much of a harder worker He is my Dad is also twice, even three times nicer than. My Dad is the most loving person I know, He has been extremely supportive in all my endeavors in life. He always reminds me of how much He loves me and care for me, He also sacrificed so much of His life to give me a better opportunity. He works selflessly to provide for my brothers and sisters all our necessities and goes the extra mile to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful. He always is there for me when I need Him. He would literally drop whatever He is doing just to hear me rant or if I need a shoulder to cry on. He never belittles me or my problems and insecurities. He constantly reaffirms me of my potential when I feel just like garbage. He is always telling me I am destined for greatness, I am priceless and worth more than the world to Him. Even when I hear Him tell me these things over and over I believe Him because He is extremely genuine. It is actually because of Him that I want to help people with my life. He always told me to never be greedy or money hungry, but that I should use my wealth to help the poor. He never looks down on people in a worse position than Him, He always calls other people our brothers and sisters.…

Everyone has a different definition of a hero. Mine is a person who has impacted my life, or lives in general. They are selfless and genuine people who care about others more than themselves. A hero has no gender, size, or age. Anyone is capable of being a hero, but it’s very rare to find someone who possesses all of the qualities. People like a war veteran, a public figure, or an everyday person are all people who fit my definition of a hero. Irena Sendler, Tyler Joseph, and my mom are prime examples of what I think a hero is and should…

I was always an inquisitive child. I remember a strong connection with my father in my earliest years, cloudy snapshots of a time when I was still an only child, the light of his life, and his buddy. I felt a sense of pride every time we tried new foods together or we sat outside and talked about the stars and the universe beyond while he grilled our dinner. Dad had attempted to earn a college degree, but could not complete his freshman year because of his parents’ finances. He entered the military in 1971, a few months before I was born, and excelled in his career as a sailor. He is a quiet and humble man, one of strong moral backbone and extremely high expectations for his children- especially me. My need for approval and the hunger for seeing and doing new things were set before I turned five. When my sister and brother came along, things changed. Hallmark memories are painful, uncomfortable. When I decided to give softball a try at age twelve, dad jumped in as umpire. If I wasn’t nervous enough walking up to the plate during my first (and only) season, hearing his voice thunder, “STRIKE”, “STRIKE”, “OUT” totally broke down my self-confidence. Later, in high school, I remember coming home one day with glee because I had earned a “99%” on a challenging assignment. His response was, “Why not a hundred?” I’ve forgiven my father in recent years, understanding as an adult that he meant well, he just…

The definition of a good father is as individual as the individuals involved themselves. A good father is able to support his children’s strengths, along with being able to help them overcome their weaknesses. He is able to do this without appearing to be a know-it-all. The ability to show by example how to live life, while not being afraid to make mistakes and not to be perfect all the time are also very important characteristic.…

    Why I admire my dad

Secondly, another reason why I admire my dad is his ability to admit his wrongs very easily and try to get others to balance him out. If my dad is unable to do something, he will let you know then and there, giving you enough time to make arrangements. People always say that it takes a man to admit wrong and since my dad is very good at doing this, I admire and respect him tremendously. Also, since he is very adamant on staying true to these values, he has always tried and instill these values into me, and for that reason I am thankful and appreciative as not everyone gets guidance like this.…

My father is a man like no other. He may not be a hero with supernatural powers, but he can be as mighty as Superman. Before, he works as a security guard at night and a caregiver at daytime in California and in order to send me to De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, he find a new job that could meet the demands of my course even if that would mean enduring the pain and hardships in processing salmons and king crabs in the cold region of Alaska. And during off-season, where salmon and king crabs are not available for processing, he can be janitor as well. There are also times when he even neglected to take his maintenance for his diabetes, because instead of buying his medicines, he would send us his allotment for our needs. And the last time he went back home, he did the household chores that our maid should actually do – he washed the dishes, cooked the food and fixed our drainage that malfunctioned. Oh! And before I forgot, he also love animals. Every time we chat through Yahoo, he never fails to ask, “How’s Ferdie and Julia?” – our dogs, when will Annie, a guinea pig, deliver her babies and how was Louie. I can still remember the times when he was still here in the Philippines, he is a marine soldier, who is based in Palawan. Every time he went home, he will always have either Parrots or squirrels, and took good care of them. Then whenever we go to mall, he would walk like a retarded one, then many people will look and some laugh at him. But then, it doesn’t matter to him. Because he do that to make us – his daughters laugh. And sometimes, even he’s overseas, he would even waste a Php15 load just to text me a joke. And the best thing I like about him is, he let us experience what life really has to offer. When my mother is asleep at night, we would sneak into the house and go to bayan, 7-Eleven and Dongalo’s Tapsihan to eat pugo, balot, barbecue, hotdog sandwich and tapsilog. My father is the best eating companion!…

My father has managed for eighteen years to be a part of my life without being a part of my life. He lives right around the corner from me in a two story home that’s painted light brown. It looked like s fluffy double stacked pancakes and when the sun hit the satellite dish on the top of the roof it made the top half of the house shine like syrup running off the top. For a while all I knew my father by was this house, I got ideas of what he might be like by looking at this house. I thought of him as a full bodied man because instead of having one front door he had two. So I thought maybe he couldn’t fit through just one. I imagined him as a strong wide bodied linebacker with a soft side due to the fact that he had a colorful; well-kept garden on the side of the house.…
