Why I admire my dad

My Dad is someone who I would say has had the most ups and downs in his life. He has always made in important to try and be the best person he possibly can. However, human nature only allows you to be ‘so good’ and he does, like anybody else would, have some traits that one would say are less than positive. Despite my dad being a good and bad person with both positive and negative traits, if I had to pick someone that I admired most, I would pick my dad. My dad has always tried his best at trying to be a positive individual, through times tough or easy. He always wants to think of others before himself. Even if it’s small things like letting someone have the bigger half or letting someone into your lane, these are things that he thinks are important, despite their seeming unimportance. Being a religious person, my dad always has no problem staying positive. He believes that there is a force that is much larger than him that is going to take care of him, so he tried his best to not worry. Through this belief and always staying positive so easily, this has naturally sort of rubbed off on me. This has resulted in me also picking up on the trait, being on reason why I really admire him. His attitude is one reason I really admire him. Secondly, another reason why I admire my dad is his ability to admit his wrongs very easily and try to get others to balance him out. If my dad is unable to do something, he will let you know then and there, giving you enough time to make arrangements. People always say that it takes a man to admit wrong and since my dad is very good at doing this, I admire and respect him tremendously. Also, since he is very adamant on staying true to these values, he has always tried and instill these values into me, and for that reason I am thankful and appreciative as not everyone gets guidance like this.
