There are many different types of music from Country, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, Rock, Jazz and many more. Music is more than just entertainment, it something that can relax you, keep you motivated, or be able to relate to what the person is singing about. Music for me is a way to release stress and to relax when I’m in the car going home, at the gym working out, or at home working on my car. Music has been changing with the way technology has and making the quality of sound much better than it was in the 60’s and 70’s. Music is a big influence on young kids and older people and for some it’s a way for them to express themselves through there music. The way people feel about music can change how they feel about something or if there in a bad mood it can help relieve some of the stress. Music has done a lot for different charities from Breast Cancer, Feeding the Hunger, and for Aids research. Music is not just entertainment as most people may think, this is something that is a way of life for the people that produce and write music. As a local television Director, my main focus is on the local news and the issues that affect the community in which I live. I would choose to make the closing of the parks for three days my lead story and leave the celebrity death to the bigger networks. My first priority is to report news that affects the citizens of the community that I serve, even with the prospect of bigger ratings; I would feel an obligation to my audience to report issues that are more closely related to them.…

Over the last seventeen centuries, Christianity has focused on Jesus as the Messiah, the Savior of us all, who was born to save us, and died cruelly on the cross to save us. There is another interpretation of the meaning of his life as well. . In addition, it has been widely believed in organized Christianity that Jesus' death on the cross was ordained by God as a means of saving humankind, but this belief only grew through the teachings of Paul. Too many today, Jesus is seen as a prophet, from the long line of Jewish prophets, going back to Samuel in King David's time.…

The first argument I chose from the essay states “It is unlikely, for example, that many Americans remember that, earlier in 2001, an earthquake in Gujarat, India, killed approximately 20,000 people. One might explain the difference in reaction by saying that we naturally respond more strongly to the deaths of Americans closer to home than to those of others halfway around the world.” The premise of this argument is when the author states “It is unlikely, for example, that many Americans remember that, earlier in 2001, an earthquake in Gujarat, India, killed approximately 20,000 people”; the conclusion is “One might explain the difference in reaction by saying that we naturally respond more strongly to the deaths of Americans closer to home than to those of others halfway around the world.” The premise of this argument does support the conclusion of the statement. I believe this argument is inductively strong. The argument is strong because it evokes emotions of patriotism. The argument is inductive in the way that it uses the words “unlikely” and “naturally.”…

Monotheism, the existence of one universal God, impacted Western civilization in various ways. The second Isaiah describes the strongest statement of Hebrew monotheism in a poem written during the Hebrew exile in Babylonia, 597-539 B.C.E. In this poem, God is described as the creator of the heavens, the earth, and life to the universe. God cannot be worshipped through pictures. The Hebrew God also changes how followers behave. To get God’s approval, a person must act righteously. These beliefs are still practiced in modern Christianity.…

Christianity has a close relationship with Judaism, both historically and theologically. Jesus, the twelve disciples, the author of most of the New Testament, and the members of the earliest Christian churches were all Jews. Jesus’ family followed Jewish customs and Jesus frequently quoted the Hebrew Bible. Jesus’ followers believed him to be the messiah, a Jewish figure predicted in the Jewish Bible.…

The religion I want to talk about is one that was very interesting to me. Christianity has been around for many years. The Concept is that there is one God, and he has a son who the followers call Jesus. God gave his only son to be sacrificed so that the world could be saved instead of burning in hell. So all the people who believes will have an eternal life, that is the key point. Now there are many followers of Christianity all over the world. God saves and forgives his people; he blesses them, and never forsakes them, that is what they are taught. Jesus was crucified but maintained his promise of resurrecting on the third day like he told his disciples he would. That is how many started believing because they actually saw Jesus after he had been crucified. He was executed by Roman authorities after man people calling him the Messiah. Jesus while he was alive performed many miracles which caused many Jews to believe he was the son of God. He healed the sick, wounded, dead, blind, and death. He came from the Virgin Mary who was a young girl married to Joseph but she was still a virgin. Gabriel the angel came to her and told her she will be expecting a child, which would be the son of God. She was warned of all the events that would occur in his life and she believed and trusted in the lord.…

Throughout Salvation history it foreshadows the coming of Jesus Christ and the different persons of the Trinity. All three persons of the Trinity are seen in the three parts of Salvation history and the nature of it. Also the Trilemma of Jesus is talked about and who he really is. The fulfilments that Jesus makes towards Messianic hope is seen. Jesus’ claims of divinity are the basis for the Catholic teaching on the Trinity, the Identity of Jesus, and Salvation History.…
