GLOBAL WARMING One of the most strongly debated topics on our earth is the issue of climate change. Global warming and climate change is refer to an increase in average global temperatures. Natural events and human activities are believed to be contributing to an increase in average global temperatures. This is caused primarily by increases in “greenhouse” gases such as Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
I. Effect
There are two effects of global warming which is the environmental and social changes that is caused by indirectly human emissions of greenhouse gases.
a.climate change climate change takes place because of the human activities which are the primary causes. There are evidences of climate change which includes the instrumental temperature record, rising sea levels and this warming world, we experienced extremely hot days and warm nights by a decrease of cold days and night.
II. Causes
Is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) In the atmosphere which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. Carbon accumulates and overloads our atmosphere because of burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas of energy or cut down and burning forests to create some pastures and plantations. The agricultural practices and certain waste management, aggravate the problem by releasing other potent global warming gases, such as methane and nitrous oxide.
