Cryogenics
In physics, cryogenics is the study of the production of very low temperature (below −150°C, −238°F or 123K) and the behavior of materials at those temperatures. A person who studies elements under extremely cold temperature is called a cryogenicist. Rather than the relative temperature scales of Celsius and Fahrenheit, cryogenicists use the absolute temperature scales. These are Kelvin (SI units) or Rankin scale (Imperial & US units). Sea Water
From about July 1944 to about September 1944, experiments were conducted at the Dachau concentration camp to study various methods of making sea water drinkable. At one point, a group of roughly 90 Roma were deprived of food and given nothing but sea water to drink by Dr. Hans Eppinger, leaving them gravely injured. They were so dehydrated that others observed them licking freshly mopped floors in an attempt to get drinkable water.
Poison
Somewhere between December 1943 and October 1944, experiments were conducted at Buchenwald to investigate the effect of various poisons. The poisons were secretly administered to experimental subjects in their food.

In the novel Night by Elie Wiesel he talks about what he’s been through. He also writes about his struggles and what he has suffered through when he was under Nazi control. The Nazis didn’t care one bit if the Jews died and didn’t stop once to realize that what they were doing was very wrong and crucial. In the Galician forest, near Kolomay the Gestapo forced the Jews to dig huge trenches and when they had finished their work the Gestapo shot the Jewish prisoners into the huge trenches without passion or haste (Wiesel 6). The Jews fell into to the huge bloody trenches and those who didn’t die straight away after being shot would be left to bleed out and slowly die in the pit (6). Jewish people needed to live the Holocaust but the crucial Nazis…

It goes without saying that Elie Wiesel endured some of the worst treatment anyone has ever lived to tell about. After living through something so terrible, it is almost instinctual to try and push it away or forget about it, but Wiesel did not believe in that approach. He believed that he was still alive for a reason and it was his job, his duty, to pass down his story, and inform the world about what had happened.…

Medical experimentation was carried not only at Auschwitz but in most of the concentration camps. Experimentation was done on Jewish and non-Jewish victims who did not volunteer or consent to the experiments. One laboratory experiment was done by Stanley Milgram in 1961. He was a professor at Yale University. Milgram was Jewish by birth and very interested in the 2nd world war and the holocaust. He was especially interested in why millions of Germans obeyed orders resulting in the mass slaughtering of millions of Jews during the 2nd world war. One theory he had was that Germans were different to people of a different nationality and that they were more likely to have a personality type that makes them obey orders from those of a higher authority. He believed that the Germans were the only race to be this callous.Milgram tested his theory by carrying out a study on American men to see how far they would go following orders to torture or kill someone. An experiment of obedience. 40 male subjects were recruited by mail and a newspaper ad to participate in a ‘memory and learning’ experiment which they would also be paid for. Each participant was told that there payment was for showing up and they could keep the payment no matter what happened after they arrived. On arrival the participant met the person leading the experiment and the subject who was in fact a stooge. The participant and the stooge then picked slips of paper to decide who would be the teacher and who would be…
