Toys Toys Toys

Toys Toys Toys is a retailer that that sells a wide assortment of toys which is amid to children as young as infants, to puzzles for adults. They have been around since 1990, and their retail strategy is to find toys that no other retailer can find and offer them at a low price. They also stand out from their leading competitors by providing superior customer service and having employees that know and value their products. They also have a Discount Club that you can join up on the company website (http://toyscubed.com), which provides their customers with great deals at discounted prices. (Toy Toys Toys) The location of this retailer that I visited was the one at Scarborough Town Center. It is located on the lower floor by the McDonald’s food court (The exact location can be located on the mall directory which is the last page in this document). Toys Toys Toys offers a wide range of toys for infants to puzzles for adults. Toys Toys Toys is a specialty store that offers a depth assortment of toys. The stores prices range from $1.99 to $299.99. The cheapest item in the store was crayons that cost $1.99 and the most expensive item that was available it the store was the Star Wars Lego that cost $299.99. The price point that they had was set at .99 cents. Toys Toys Toys targets their merchandise to people who have a low to medium income and who have children. There are many different target markets that Toys Toys Toys have. This would depend on what kind of toy (and the age of the child) the shopper was looking for. In saying that, one target customer would be a 3 year old to 5 year old girl who would want a doll like a Dora Explorer, Zue-Fari Pets, to items like crayons and play dough creations. Another target market could be boys from the age 7 to 11 who like toys such as dinky cars, action figures like Superman, to Board Games like Sorry. Their retail strategy that they have adopted to attract these particular target markets is by having a wide assortment of toys at the children’s level in which they can touch and play with. Also for the older children who have birthday or allowance money, will be able to go into the store and purchase something at a cheap price, as the store offers toys at discounted prices. They offer a wide range of toys, so they can attract a wide range of children to the store. In addition, as you walk pass the store in the mall you can clearly identify that it is a toy store which will intrigue the children to want to enter the store. What child doesn’t want to walk into a toy store? Another target market that Toys Toys Toys has is the parents of the children since they have the purchasing power. With that said it would mostly be the mothers, as they are the ones who do the shopping. Depending on the age of the children, the mothers would vary in age. One of the targets would be for the younger mothers which would range from the ages of 20 –30. Now in days single mothers are more common which means that generally have less money to spend on things like toys for their children. A toy store like Toys Toys Toys would be great for them because, they offer a wide range of “hot” toys at low prices. In addition, younger mothers (even if they have a spouse) generally are at the low to mid range income levels because they are just starting their careers, so they also don’t have a lot of disposable income. Additionally, they also have mortgages and student loans to pay off. The retail strategy that Toys Toys Toys uses to attract this particular target market is that they offer low prices and they have lots of additional discounts around the store. They also have a Discount Club which the mothers can sign up (free of charge) to...
