Prayer of Adoration
Father God, who is great
Everyday you fill us with regular amazement at your glorious power, your wonderful plans.
There is nothing we can say, or sing, or make, or do that is even within earshot of you and your love, and yet you kneel down beside us and listen carefully to our most unimportant worries.
We sitting here today are nothing on the grand scale of things, while you are everything and more, but still you smile and point out every individual and say proudly, “That’s my child.”
Let us never forget that you’re our father, our dad, our daddy, who reads us the best bedtime story there’s ever been, or will be, or can be.
You are God, and we praise you for it.
Amen.

Prayer of Contrition
I am a man and a sinner, the way I move and go are products of my sins
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your love; according to your great compassion blow away my transgressions. Wash away all my wickedness and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my transgression and my sin is always before me.
Against you, and my brothers and sisters, I have sinned and done what is evil,
For you Lord who saw everything can judge me and may forgive me, Amen.

Prayer of Supplication
God, as you open the day, I ask for your guidance in all my undertakings
Help me oh Lord to be obedient, generous and sensitive so I may watch my every move there are so many decisions to make and I don’t seem to know what is best for now or for the future.
For I need a pour wisdom into my mind today.
I ask you my loving father to keep my family and love ones safe and healthy
Let them be guided by your light, and embrace them with your loving arms
I submit myself to you today my loving father, Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Oh, God, when I have food you helped me remember the hungry;
When I have work, you helped me remember the jobless;
When I have a warm home, you helped me remember the homeless;
When I am without pain, you helped me remember those who suffer;
And remembering helped me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion.
Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed,
Those who cry out for what we take for granted.
"For I was hungry and you gave Me food,I was thirsty and you gave Me drink.I was a stranger and you welcomed Me..." (Matthew 25:35)
I am grateful oh Lord, Amen.
