Appropriate Sand Production Process Is Crucial For Sand Making
The shortage of natural sand makes the artificial sand necessary. For the production of artificial sand, Hongxing Machinery exports remind you that choosing a right sand production process for artificial sand is just like water for fish, which is of high efficiency. Currently, aggregate crushing plant requirements in ghanathere are two ways of sand making: wet type sand making technology and dry type sand making technology. So, which one can be selected according to individual circumstance? At first, the difference between these two methods should be made clear, and then you will get the answer.
Wet type sand making technology is generally used in South China or areas with rich water resource. The traditional process is crusher from large size to medium, then to small size which is less than 25mm.After that, the gravel will be put into rod mill for sand making. Finally, the spiral separator will take off the mud and emerge the powder. It is widely used in hydroelectric sites for artificial sand making in the 1990s.With the application of sand maker, coal crusher manufacturer in india especially since the 1996 Three Gorges Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering applied the vertical impact crusher to produce artificial aggregates, which made water conservancy, hydropower engineering and construction industries develop quickly in artificial sand making.
Dry type sand making line: the so-called 'dry' means that when making artificial sand, it doesn’t use water to get rid of mud from sand, but uses separator to reduce the amount of mud in order to obtain a better guarantee of the quality and grade of sand.
These two methods depend on geographic locations and conditions of the plant. Literally speaking, as the name suggests , one of them uses water, and the other one does not, then comes out the decision, it relies on whether the location of your factory is available for water, if it is in North China, adopting the wet type will not be worthy.

Sand is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. The composition of sand is highly variable, depending on the local rock sources and conditions, but the most common constituent of sand in inland continental settings and non-tropical coastal settings is silica (silicon dioxide, or SiO2), usually in the…

Abstract The need to have stable slopes in open pit mining of the tar sand deposit of the Dahomey Basin, Southwestern Nigeria is emphasized in this study. In the Loda village, Southwestern Nigeria, samples of the lateritic soil and alluvial sand which overlie the tar sand occurrence were subjected to geotechnical tests. Computer simulation of bench face angles was carried out using the SLOPE/W software to determine the bench face angle(s) with the least susceptibility to failure. Slope failure might lead to loss of lives and valuable heavy equipment thus increasing overall expense of running the mine. Geotechnical tests carried out helped to determine the unit weight (g), cohesion (c) and angle of o friction (f) values. For the lateritic soil, g = 25 kN/m3, c = 45 kPa and f = 41 . Also, values of g = 18 3 o kN/m , c = 0 kPa and f = 34 were obtained for the alluvial sand. These values were inputted into the software program to simulate different bench face angles that could be cut into the two lithologic o o units. Factor of safety values were obtained for 10 to 90 bench face angles at 1 metre, 4 metres and greater than 40 metres ground water level, respectively. 10 metre bench width and 6 metre bench height were used while 20 metre bench width and 6 metre bench height were also utilized to make room for heavier equipment. Factor of safety values ranging between 3.58 and 1.73 were obtained o o for bench face angles between 10 and 30 making this range least susceptible to failure even when inundation is considered. Consequently when mining commences, a utilization of slope angles ranging from 10 to 30 coupled with adequate drainage conditions like digging of perimeter trenches and use…

Towards the end of the story (in part four), Silko introduces the image of sand several times. The setting is indeed taking place where there is abundant sand and for Silko it is a part of the story. In order for one to see how sand plays a role in the story, its physical properties must be presented first. Sand is a solid granular substance comprised of tiny particles or grains. Its composition is based on rock and minerals and is variable depending on the local conditions. It is also present in various areas such as beneath the ocean or the desert.…

Rotary drum dryer is the device that is used to heat and dry the materials. Rotary drying machine is generally applicable to granular materials and it can be also used for the drying of some part of sticky pasty materials or the materials with high water content. The dry moist materials are transmitted by belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper and then getting into the feed end trough feed pipe.1.The dryer is a tilt rotary cylinder which the materials are added from the high end of the cylinder; during the continuous rotary motion of the sand dryer, the materials are in progressive movement from the high-end to low-end, so sand dryer is a transportation equipment.2.Dryer is also a combustion equiment. The pulverized coal powder is sprayed into the sand dryer by the sand drying blower head. The combustion heat is transferred to the material in the three basic ways of radiation, convection and conduction. As fuel combustion equipment, sand dryer has a broader space and thermal field, can provide sufficient air, install excellent combustion apparatus to ensure full combustion of fuel and provide the necessary heat for clinker calcination.3.Dryer has the heat exchange function. Sand dryer has a relatively uniform temperature Session which can meet the requirements of exchanging heat during each stage of the cement clinker formation , in particular Alite mineral generated requirements.4.Drying machine has a function of chemical reactions. In the formation process, the clinker has a series of physical, chemical reaction. Sand dryer can meet the heat, temperature requirements of different minerals in phases, but also meet their time requirements, with all of those features, it is the ideal chemical reaction device. The feeding pipe slope should be greater than the natural inclination of the material, so that the material can smoothly get into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a horizontal line slightly inclined rotating cylinder. Material is added from the upper…

The growing media that is used for gardening greatly effects the production of the plants. If sand is used as a medium it should be tested thoroughly for any residue that might cause infected growing medium. The sand should be cleaned at least every three of four weeks. Leaching is also a major step, it is to be done at the end of each crop cycle ( Jones 69-70). Sand that is used for the medium should have sawdust mixed with it to allow for better drainage. The sawdust also makes the sand lighter and not pact together as easy ( Bridwell 86).…
