Rosa Park was born in Tuskegee‚ Alabama on February 4th 1913. She grew up on a farm with Her maternal grandparents. In 1932 Rosa Parks married Raymond Parks a barber from Montgomery. When Rosa was young she suffered poor health and had chronic tonsillitis. Black and white people were segregated in virtually every aspect of daily life in the south.
