There is actually lots of irony in this story. The key piece is that the two characters in this story hate each other. They want each other dead and in the end‚ both of them end up dieing. Irony is the best thing to have in stories in my opinion. They make it interesting and funny so at the end you can say “ha sucks doesn’t it”.
