It is easy to take liberty of doing anything you would like but it takes a lot of bravery to claim responsibility for your movements. A freedom implies the responsibility‚ not «anything». For example‚ you want to kill someone you do not like. Anarchy allows you to do it: no one above tells you that it is wrong. A freedom gives you

A short essay on the poem Philomela by Matthew Arnold (Emiliano Colella) Introduction This poem is a mythological history of love and treason‚ a history that show the poet’s dramatic loneliness and alienation from the real world. The poetic voice speaks to an external self‚ comparing his passion and his pain with the eternal passions and pains of the world‚ always the same‚ represented by the myth of Philomela. Congress had the power to make peace‚ it could make money‚ but there was little to make. It had the power to appoint army

You Been?" critics argue whether the character of Arnold Friend‚ clearly the story ’s antagonist‚ represents Satan in the story. Oates characterizes Arnold Friend at first glance as "a boy with shaggy‚ black hair‚ in a convertible jalopy painted gold"(581). She lets the reader know that Arnold is not a teenager when Connie begins to notice the
