My Role Model Essay Example
Over time, I have had several people who have influenced various aspects of my life, based on their personal characteristics, accomplishments, and values. But, when reflecting on truly personal influences in my life, no one has had a greater impact than my father. He was and continues to be a positive role model as a father, a husband, and electrician. My father has worked very hard in his life to make sure he provides his family with everything they need. Even though my father worked all of the time, he still managed to make time for his family. He took us on vacations to places like Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri. He has also taught me how to hunt. Another reason I chose him is because we are a lot alike and have very similar personalities and work ethics. My dad has always taught me that I have to work my hardest for whatever I want in life. My dad had me with his first wife, my mother, when he was seventeen. My parents had very little money to raise me on their own, so my dad went to work right away to help support his family. He gave up all his freedom and the fun on a teenage life to help support his family. My dad has been working at least two jobs at a time since the age of seventeen. My dad has always been by my side through everything whenever I needed him. My dad is also a great example of a role model because he is a good man with many admirable qualities. He is a kind, protective, loving, caring, and hard-working man. He would give anybody the shirt off his back and help anyone out. My dad has always encouraged me in all my hopes and dreams, no matter how unrealistic they may have been. He has always been a great support system in my life. My dad is also a very funny man. He jokes and pulls pranks on everybody. Sometimes, I think he acts more like his shoe size, than his age. He always knew when it was time to take things seriously, though. My dad always makes sure to keep his work, family, and spiritual life separate. He makes equal time

My parents are the hardest working individuals I know. Both, my mom and my dad, made and continue to make sacrifices to this day. It all started about 5 years ago. My Dad moved to San Diego to acquire more income for me and my family, leaving my mother with 3 children. This was a very difficult time for each of us, but I would like to think for my Dad even more. Coming from a small island, Guam, he had to adapt to this whole new culture in Southern California, by himself. He had to work, eat, sleep by himself and make time out of his day to talk to his kids. This was an emotional time for him too because I know after a couple years without seeing your kids, life…

My Dad is an extremely hard working person. He is always up and ready for the day before anyone else in my family and He is also the last person up always working on His projects. Just as much of a harder worker He is my Dad is also twice, even three times nicer than. My Dad is the most loving person I know, He has been extremely supportive in all my endeavors in life. He always reminds me of how much He loves me and care for me, He also sacrificed so much of His life to give me a better opportunity. He works selflessly to provide for my brothers and sisters all our necessities and goes the extra mile to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful. He always is there for me when I need Him. He would literally drop whatever He is doing just to hear me rant or if I need a shoulder to cry on. He never belittles me or my problems and insecurities. He constantly reaffirms me of my potential when I feel just like garbage. He is always telling me I am destined for greatness, I am priceless and worth more than the world to Him. Even when I hear Him tell me these things over and over I believe Him because He is extremely genuine. It is actually because of Him that I want to help people with my life. He always told me to never be greedy or money hungry, but that I should use my wealth to help the poor. He never looks down on people in a worse position than Him, He always calls other people our brothers and sisters.…

Secondly, another reason why I admire my dad is his ability to admit his wrongs very easily and try to get others to balance him out. If my dad is unable to do something, he will let you know then and there, giving you enough time to make arrangements. People always say that it takes a man to admit wrong and since my dad is very good at doing this, I admire and respect him tremendously. Also, since he is very adamant on staying true to these values, he has always tried and instill these values into me, and for that reason I am thankful and appreciative as not everyone gets guidance like this.…
